About changing service (Transition)

    • How long does it take to change our service to yours?
      • Our highly trained Transition team will guide your facility staff through every step.  The usual transition completion time is before your next order cycle.

      • No, we know every facility is managed and operated differently.  We can provide you with our Facility Management Software, integrate your current EHR system, or make it as high-tech or low- tech as you like.

    • How do I submit orders and new prescriptions?
      • Our highly-trained staff is available around the clock to service and process your prescriptions.   We know every facility is managed and operated differently, which is why we offer various options in order processing to service your need.  Please click here for more information. 
    • Can I track my orders?
      • Yes, once the order is placed, you can track your order through an online tracking system or by calling our friendly staff.
    • What is your turn around time?
      • Most prescriptions are available the same day.  Once the order has been placed, we will deliver the order according to a prearranged delivery schedule.
    • Do you provide Emergency deliveries?
      • Yes, we offer 24/7 Emergency deliveries.

    • Can we integrate our current software with your pharmacies?
      • Yes, we know every facility is managed and operated differently.  That is why our team of experts can customize our technology to integrate whatever Facility Management program or Electronic Health Records (EHR) system you are currently using.  By integrating our system to work seamlessly with yours, we can share information between your facility and our pharmacies in order to reduce paper waste, errors, and cost.

Billings

    • Do you provide itemized invoices?
      • We provide several options of weekly/monthly statements for individuals or for the entire facility.  Our statements can be itemized according to your request and can be provided electronically or in paper statements. 
    • What types of insurance do you take?
      • With constantly changing health care laws and regulations, knowing what, when, and how much to pay can be confusing.  Direct Pharmacy Care is on your side, which means you have the reassurance of industry experts who will make the process easy and accurate. We accept most prescription insurance plans, Medicare, Medicaid, and other government plans. 
    • What if the medication is not covered by my insurance carrier?
      • With our buying power and Direct Access supply, we have competitive pricing on prescriptions that are not covered under some insurance plans.  Additionally, our Pharmacists will work with the Doctors for any other options.

Payments

    • What types of payments do you take?
      • We accept all major payment methods.
    • Do you take weekly or monthly payments?
      • Yes, we will work with the facility and the family to set up a payment plan.
    • Can the resident or the resident’s family pay you directly?
      • Yes, our billing system can be customized for each individual.
    • Who do we make the payment out to?

Delivery / Tracking

    • Do you use your own drivers?
      • Yes, we have professional delivery personnel, who will be on schedule.  However, we also offer deliveries through other major carriers.
    • What is your delivery schedule like?
      • We can customize the delivery schedule to each facility.
    • Can we track the shipment online?
      • Yes, your shipments can be tracked online.
    • Do we get order confirmations?
      • With every order, we send out electronic order confirmations.
